Was thinking about how Janeway does NOT seem like a person who'd wear a silky little pink nightgown to bed which ended with me thinking about how it'd be SO funny if Tuvok & Janeway inexplicably had matching pajama sets. They don't go to each other's rooms that often and it's rare for anyone to visit either of them (specifically Tuvok) after hours so no one really notices except one night Chakotay (who's seen Janeway in her pajamas during 'Resolutions') has to get Tuvok to sign off on something and sees he's wearing the exact same pair. Now Chakotay is sitting in silence in his own room like 'WHY do they have matching pajamas??????'

#The actual answer is Tuvok gave her a collection of Vulcan pajamas designed to keep you warm while off world #and it was the same like '8 pack Vulcan pajamas' he bought for himself and he didn't consider it might carry implications #in his head it's the same as how everyone has access to the same starfleet issue pajamas/underwear #chakotay/janeway/tuvok #chakotay #kathryn janeway #tuvok #star trek voyager #people who rarely go into each others rooms but DO have matching pajamas #Chakotay having a dream about Janeway in her underwear and when he compliments them she says Tuvok has the same pair #[space alarm clock wakes him up]#what could this mean???

Thinking again about the actual description of Trent’s fate, specifically the “no word publicly”. It suggests that instead of the out-in-the-open sensationalized courtroom trial we’ve built up, Trent might have just gotten disappeared. A meeting with the king, a short and sharp internal affairs investigation, no release of information to citizens, simply a new archmage one day and everyone knew better than to ask what happened to the old one. It’s definitely A Timeline for Astrid and Caleb, and a much different relationship for them with the rest of the Assembly.

I have considered a Vesper De Rolo Makes A Little Visit To Rexxentrum To Ask Questions #but realistically the crown would want to head off even that #there would be no mention of the tortured children definitely no mentions of misused residuum #fantasy ndas for everyone and a haze of suspicion and rumor clouding the whole affair #Caleb and Astrid and eadwulf might not have even needed to give in person testimony #depending on how quick they wanted the process to go and how much faith they had #in the cobalt soul’s depositions #regardless it was probably a very clean affair #almost brutally so which in some ways makes it worse #less gossip and trauma vs the knowledge that you too could get quietly packed away if you are deemed more trouble than you’re worth

scrolling down my subscriptions page, seeing Impulse is playing an 'impossible' mc pack and thinking 'lmao i bet thats gonna suck, things based around being 'impossible' are always miserable for no reason', then scrolling down one more row and seeing Pearl is a part of it and thinking 'oh nvm theyre gonna beat that in like 2 weeks tops'

the coldfire trilogy is about a lot of things, but mostly it's about two men who get increasingly and obsessively intertwined with each other's lives and perceptions of the world while the author is completely convinced she's writing two straight guys being dudes. Truly the rituals are intricate.

#this one goes out to all the bitches who grew up in really small towns #im talking 2000 ppl in total #bc when youre a kid in a town w no stores and nothing to do you can make literally anything a game #i was doing experiments on bugs that should be considered torture tactics #my friends and i used to ride bikes so much that we would put water bottles on the back wheel so it would sound like a motorcycle #we would take rocks from ppls front porch and smash them on their driveways bc they wluld explode in a cool way #i ding dong ditched ppl a couple of times #we used to get skipping ropes and mark out ''rooms'' in my friends garage so we could play house except we were all monsters #i ate so much raw mr noodles packs as a kid bc it was literally just smth to do ToT #that shit was the best before we figure out iy was bad flr you. it was crunchy and salty and made you feel kinda weird #looking back i was kinda a shithead #i used to eat raw hotdogs too but we dont have to talk about hat #if youre not a country bumpkin you just wont get it sorry

You know, I'm glad that some of us take the step to embrace things that we like even if they're "cringe" or "objectively bad"

But perhaps we could take the next step forward and embrace the idea of reading into books/shows/movies/etc even if they don't seem deep. Perhaps we could understand that the two kinds of media aren't either "shallow and meaningless so you're weird and brainrotted to read into it" or "incredibly and profoundly deep in every way so if you don't analyze every single angle of the thing then you're brainrotted". Some media is deeper than others, but all I propose is that no matter how deep it seems it's acceptable to dig into the thing and take the media seriously instead of just assuming that because of ____ thing (such as target audience or how cringe it is) the media not deep and will never be deep and everything good about it happened on accident.

they should make fashion doll inspired sonic toys . like they look very similar to the normal figures but theyre a bit bigger and certain body parts are more easily removable so you can dress them up and they also make little fashion packs you can buy to put on them. i would buy that . i want it so bad now that im thinking about it .

I genuinely feel like I dont have a right at all to complain or talk negative about Japanese fans but like……..the evident cliqueish-ness of honestly what looks like a very unfortunate larger chunk of them ……😮‍💨

like i gotta be honest the concert was a lot more isolating than it actually already was in itself because of the vibes at least a couple of clusters of fans gave me

Was Anyone But You a good Much Ado About Nothing adaptation? No, not at all, but fuck it was fun!

#y’all know I have many thoughts about this play and these characters #but even though the movie didn’t completely live up to my expectations as an adaptation #I still really enjoyed it!#and I really despise all those people making posts about how sydney sweeney can’t act #idk it seems a little rude #my main problem is how they messed up the benedick and beatrice characterization and dynamic #I love that they played up the ex lovers thing (which is left up to interpretation in the play)#and i love love queer Hero and Claudio!!!#but their hatred of each other didn’t really pack the same punch as in the original #I suppose I wish they weren’t afraid to make the characters bigger assholes?#ya know- give them more flaws?#because right now the enemies part doesn’t really feel believable for big parts of the movie #They really could have leaned more into making Bea a bit of a cold and snappy mess (as she is in the original)#and Ben more of…ya know…actual human disaster who can’t commit #both of their characters in the play are driven by their desire never to marry and their distrust for the opposite sex #They included this a bit with Bea (her not believing in true love and all that)#but her break up with Jonathan (because he was too nice???) didn’t really convince me of it #They also keep insisting that Ben is a fuckboy but we never really see it demonstrated?#I personally don’t mind the fact that they changed up the whole ‘convincing them that the other secretly loves them’ bit #especially considering this is only loosely based on much ado #but I do think they made it a bit messy considering they included the gulling scenes but only as a joke #I wish they’d either leaned fully into the much ado plot or ditched it #I think what a lot of adaptations get wrong is that they’re either too afraid of leaning into their og media #or too afraid of seperating themselves from the og media #oh god I’ve reached the tag limit help #anyways- rant over #anyone but you #maria talks about things #much ado about nothing #beatrice x benedick
